The Vertool® Force Drive is a gear driven double action polisher that offers the safety of a double action polisher with the cutting power of a rotary. Unlike conventional double action polishers, with the Vertool® Force Drive, the actual random oscillations are driven by the motor, meaning the polisher never slows down or bogs down on curves and under load like traditional double action polishers. However, it retains all the safety and operating advantages of a double action polisher. The lower speed means that heat is not generated as quickly and there is much less chance of generating holograms as part of the finishing process. This is probably the best polisher on the market for its price, with unrivalled power and fantastic build quality. It is important to note that the polisher is supplied with two backing plates, one 5" (125mm) and one 6" (150mm), which allows for greater flexibility and choice of pads, as well as a high quality canvas carrying case.
